started the day with a nice, and hot, 2 mileish hike with fam in the coastal hills of pacifica, they were doing a 50K trail ultra so it was fun to watch and made me want to run one.  later got some time for a run, started at 2:00 p.m., very very hot, it was sweet!  felt pretty good, I had hydrated well which makes all the difference, also I drained my fuel belt 2 bottles of cytomax on the 6 mile run so that helped.  here are the splits for the run:

8:38, 8:21, 7:52, 7:50, 7:38, 8:59 (this last mile was on a dirt trail and had some switchbacks)  so felt pretty good  total time was 50:13 with avg: 8:13 min/ml

now time to enjoy some good food!
