that was totally wicked.  hardest and most fun race I have ever done!  trail running is sweet, a great change-up from the endless miles of asphalt!  Felt pretty good overall. Ankle stayed in check.  Total elevation climbed was 4016 feet! Total descent was 3865 ft! Crazy.  Here are the splits: 8:56, 8:40, 8:28, 11.58 (637 ft climb), 9:46, 10:03, 9:35, 9:26, 18:59 (999 ft climb CRAZY), 4:35 last .64.  Tacked on a backtrack 2 miles plus after race.  I didn't do myself any favors by walking 18 holes yesterday, and running 7  on fri but I felt pretty good.

Trail runs freak me out! That sounds like a HARD one. How do you miss all the holes and uneven ground? I am so impressed by trail runners, it is not easy!

trail was great! it was crazy though, people falling off the trail into the trees, crashing on roots, etc, the mayhem was invigorating lol
