Most scenic road race I have ever done.  Totally awesome views next to pacific ocean, pebble beach area.  Fun, course.  Garmin said 13.3 ish.  Forgot to stop it at end, but here are the splits, 8:00, 7:46, 7:58, 7:43, 7:40, 7:41, 7:43, 7:40, 7:45, 7:45, 7:56, 7:47, 7:23, was at nice pace to the end.  Was able to negative split which makes me happy.  Felt pretty dang good throughout, felt I can get faster, room for improvement and all that so overall a success I think.  I really wanted to get under 1:40, gonna take  a bit more training I guess.  Missed my bros.  Robyn had a great race too.  She was smokin hot too!  Monterrey is a great destination, had some great food.  Roy's at Spanish Bay was, always is, an awesome post race meal.  Ribs, Burger, Sushi, Molten choc. cake, key lime pie, and Creme Brulee.  Awesome day!

Nice my brother. Sounds like I need to do this one next year. Also, very nice times and splits and great last mile. Impressive says Darth.

Humm. is that a shrimp? It looks good - let me just have a taste - I'm only slightly allergic to them... - uh brother why is your face turning red and you are puffing up like a ballon fish - that's my memory of Roys at Spanish Bay... - sweet run!! Avg under 8's you are the man. Sub 1:40 coming next!!

I ran this race a couple of years ago ... it is one of the best races ever!! Congratulations on a very well-run race, it isn't an easy course (despite being very pretty) ... and your splits are really nice and even!

Great deal too, the race itself is expensive, but the hotel deals are great and such a pleasant place to be!! The race directors do those "little things" that make it even nicer -- like they will be sending you the sports section from the newpaper from Sunday's paper - where all the results are listed.
